Golden Light walked ahead of Snowy River and scented the air; trying to see if she should either have her friend run or if she should follow. Trotting ahead of Snowy, Golden lowered her head when she went back to a walk and scanned the area. She was always on alert to everyone around them since she had become the protector of the two mares. Lifting her head at a slight sound; she searched around them and then nickered to Snowy to follow her. She smiled as the filly had trotted to catch up to her. "You think this will be okay?" she asked Golden. "Yes, I didn't find anyone here when I scented the air. If I missed something then you run and I take up their time until you get away." she said with a nod of her head.
