General:

• No excessive cursing
  
  
• No bad mouthing or disrespecting staff or other members
  
  
• One account per person
  
  
• 2 months = One season, 8 months = One year
  
  
• Realistic equines only
  
  
• Grammar and Punctuation are our friends
  
  
• Pictures should be stock and credited
  
  
• Liquid Time is allowed, meaning your horse can be in multiple places at once.
  
  
• No god-moding or power-playing except minimally when force breeding in the Peaceful Meadows.
  

Activity:

• Log in & Post at least twice a week
  
  
• If a thread does not get a reply for 3 weeks it will be deleted or moved to the archives
  
  
• Your account will be deleted if you are inactive for a game year (8 months)
  
  
• There is currently no word minimum, but if we get one liners and things that are hard to reply to we will set one! Remember your five senses; sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing!
  
  
• No limit on the amount of horses you can create, so long as you keep them active.
  

Terra/Claiming:

• Claiming post must be 200 words long
  
  
• Sub-herding is your friend! Not every stallion or mare (depending on how you feel about whether or not you think mares should be able to claim land) can have their own land. Sub-herding also allows more protection!
  
  
• Must have at least 1 mare for the claim to be valid
  
  
• If you don't post in your land for one season (2 months) you will lose your land and it will be up for grabs.
  
  
• One terra per stallion/mare
  

Stallions:

• Considered a stallion at age 4 (typically)
  
  
• Can claim land & mares, can't usually force mares to go with him (unless okayed with rp-er of forced mare FIRST!)
  
  
• Can grow his herd as large as he'd like
  
  
• Can forcebreed within his land
  

Mares:

• Considered a mare at age 4, can become pregnant as young as age 2
  
  
• Get to choose which stallion they go with (unless they have planned with another rp-er to have their mare forced)
  
  
• Pregnant for 1 season
  

Foals:

• Must stay with mother till 6 months old
  
• Can choose to stay or leave their herd after 6 months of age
  
• 
  

Breeding/Birthing:

• Pregnant for 1 season
  
  
• No graphic breeding
  
  
• Breeding is allowed at any time, but foals born in fall/winter have a slim chance of survival
  
  
• Pay attention to the news fader, it will tell you when breeding and birthing is allowed.
  

Fighting/Stealing:

• Write a riddle about which mare you are attempting to steal, if the mare's stallion guesses correctly the stealing stallion does not get the mare; if he guesses incorrectly the stealing stallion will be granted the mare he was attempting to steal. You could also rp a steal as well, follow rule below for rping a steal.
  
  
• Each stallion or mare gets 3 attacks and 2 dodges; must inform a staff member that there is a fight in place and they will judge the fight according to how descriptive the posts are and how strategic the attacks and dodges are used.
  
  
• Can only steal 2 times in a season
