Empress turned towards the cow and jumped back when he nipped her towards the other equines. "And why should I?" she said laying her ears back, but moving towards the other mares. She knew there was no way out, but wanted to test the stallion some. She turned and faced him swishing her tail and still had her ears flat against her skull. She looked back at the other mares and wondered how they had come upon his trap. She turned back to him and stepped back a little. "If you want to know my name its Golden Empress. Now I ask again why should I go with you?" she craned her neck and snorted trying to stand her ground, knowing it still wouldn't do any good. She stomped her hoof and waited on his reply, hoping he would hurry up. The heat was bothering her and she was growing thirsty again. She hoped he had water in his land and then kicked herself for being stupid. Of course he had water, or he wouldn't make his land here. She brought her mind out of her thoughts and focused back on the cow standing over her waiting on his answer.

Angel looked at the new mare and shook her head; wondering if her son was safe with his uncles once more. Turning back to Raging, she could easily see that she was both hoping her daughter succeeded in her wish but at the same time feared it; for it would more than likely mean the death of Knight...her Knight to be exact. Closing her eyes for a second, she smiled as her mind escaped being here and she could see her herd and coming to her; her stallion NightSky. Feeling Raging nuzzle her, Angel opened her eyes and smiled to her dear friend and together they watched the new mare, Empress face the stallion.
Calming stopped for a second as she heard the stallion, but as soon as he was gone, she pinned her ears back and kept up her pace once more. She knew that this was what she had to do. She as after all the daughter of two surviving horses that's herd was destroyed by humans. Shaking her head, she trotted a little faster up the dune and as she reached the top; she glanced around, fighting the urge to go to her daddy.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar A cool grin spread across the maw of the crimson brute, pleased with the fight the mare was giving him, it wasn't like she was a challenge to him but her struggles amused him. Landing yet another nip on her flank, Scar's alert radars listened to her lyrics, letting his mouth more while his mind pulled it's strings. "Because deary, you've entered my land, there is no way out except the way you came in and I guard that myself so you haven't a way out. You might as well let me protect you from whatever else lurks in these parts that are worse for you than I." A cunning smirk pulled at the side on his velvet kissers, there wasn't out there that was worse than him but she didn't know that to its full extent yet; none of them did. Scar let eager molars pierce her flesh again, dropping his crania, teeth grinding, as he trotted in half circles behind her rump to herd her forward. Optics caught sight of Raging and Angel, shooting a grin at the two, motion catching his peripherals; it was Calming, still hard at work, in the sun's rays he couldn't tell if she was lathered in sweat or if it was just the rays reflection. "Come on now hunny, move along." His patience was running thin but his tone stayed the same as before. [/center] Words: 233 Muse: Other:

Empress flinched when he bit her again. "Fine. I'll go. I need a home anyway." she said. She would submit, but he would not break her spirit. She was growing hotter by the minute and hoped they would move one. She lowered her head a little and moved on. She moved towards the direction he nipped her. She walked on and looked back towards the others. "How far is it?" she asked looking at the stallion, but kept moving. She snorted in the heat and kept moving while she waited for his answer.
