Angel led her family into yet another land and this time, they hoped for a herd to live in. Angel watched as Dream stayed close to Knight, which she was always grateful for. Knight was one of the best protector her son. She looked over at her brother and sighed as she laid her head over on him. "Brave, what are we going to do?" she whispered. Brave huffed. "I don't know what to do, but let's just watch out for each other." Brave laid his head over Angel's back and sighed. They both watched as Knight and Dream where playing around, but his mind wondered off to his herd and that fateful night. Raging watched as Knight and Dream played and soon her daughter went and joined them in their fun. But as she watched the stallions and foals play, she could slightly see Knight stopping and checking the air for anyone else's scent. She knew when he found it because his head went up, ears forward and he started to listen more, but he didn't stop there, because soon he started to bring the foals back to their sides.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar O dors of other equines festered in the cillia of his nares, soldiers molding onto his skull, optics narrowing to slits; anger and adrenaline coursing through veins as he galloped in the directions of the redolences. Columns ate up the ground, muscles working hard to push his mass through the deep sand, globes examining his land carefully; spotting a band of horses in the distance. Their scents began to tell him more, three stallions and a mare, he was almost certain of it. Scar slid to a halt before them all, harks still tightly hinged to his crania, "Who are you all? What are you doing in my land?" Lyrics boomed, loud enough to shake the ground it seemed, blood colored brute stepping into a trot as he circled the small herd that was currently trespassing onto his land. Nostrils tested the air as he past the mare, a shockwave of arousal drove through his body, charging the stallion as he continued his sphere around the equines. "Well?! Who's got the answer I want?" He wasn't going to be patient, he was ready for a fight if one so ensued, molars grinding hard in his tense jowls. Charcoal optics scoured the bulls and cow, two were painted, one in golden and one in black; both splattered with ivory; the mare aureate and what might be her colt the obsidian color. Another obtained an impeccable coat, the other stag completely opposite in hue. What a strange herd that had sauntered into his land, which didn't please the brute, but maybe he could mold all these horses; if they were brilliant enough to comply, if not there would surely be consequences. Words: 278 Muse: Crap Other: Sorry for the post =\ it's pretty awful.

Angel watched the stallion and she watched as Knight and Raging both kept the foals close to them. Lifting her head from Brave's shoulder, she said, "We are looking for a herd, some place to keep the two little ones safe. Someone stronger than my brothers, to fight off anyone who dares to hurt my son and Raging's daughter." she said. She could see all the other stallions were tense, but she turned, nipping at them all. "Settle." she snorted at them and she watched as Raging nipped at Knight and Andy. Seeing Raging nodded for Angel to continue. Angel moved forward, away from her family. "I am Angel Wings, ex-lead mare of my dead herd." she said as she still watched the stallion.
Brave laid his ears back, but got nipped at by Raging who was still in beta mare mode. He realized that Raging did not want him or the others to mess this up, but to leave it to Angel. Each stallion soon lowered their head and just watched their sister handle what may happen. Brave soon watched as Dream walked up beside his mother. Oh how NightSky would be shocked, upset and proud all at the same time.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar O ptics followed the mare as she controlled the herd, her lyrics entering his receptive harks, the brute devouring and deciphering her words; mass still rigid as the cow stopped and turned to her. "My name is Leo's Scar and well you've come to the right place, but I must tell you that you all will not stay together in my land. The stags will have to wander the outskirts, protecting the land, I will train them; and you mares must come with me. You can bring your colt with you." He stated himself plainly, authoritatively, globes picking apart their conformations. They all bled mustang blood, they were all in decent height and muscle mass, but he'd tone them up more. "Brutes, all but the little one, go onto the northern part of the terra, there is a cove there. Once there wait for me to arrive, some training must ensue." He barked out orders, even though the lead mare of the group hadn't agreed to to his first conditions. "Mares you follow me for now. You too colt." Scar pushed into a lope, circling the two mares and small colt, herding them toward the west; where the main sector of his land lay. "Lets go mares." The stallion nipping the air around them to speed them up, brutes auds still pressed to his skull, optics eyeing the stags as he waited for them to go north. Angel nudged her son forward as did Raging with her daughter. Reaching a canter with her son beside her, she turned her head slightly to keep and eye on Raging, but soon the two mares put a burst of speed into their strides and the yearlings kept up pretty easily as well. Laughing, Angel charged ahead, staying close but not to close to the stallion in front of them. "Oh no you don't." Raging said as she and Calming were side by side with Angel and Dream. it was a slight race between the two and without the others chasing after them, they were just being their young selves and finally playing with their foals. "Where are we going?" Angel called ahead to the stallion.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar M aw parted to answer the mare, "Here we are." He ceased to herd they four, inspecting the mares and foals. One mare was a sapphire colored roan, a dusky gray filly at her side, the other which he knew was Angel Wings was the aureate and ivory paint splattered mares, her son matching her in pattern but black in spots. "Boy, what is your name? And age?" Scar looked over his curiously, if he had to guess he'd put him at a year or more; which meant Angel would be done nursing him and he too could learn to battle and protect the herd. The drab filly looked about the same age, but Scar had only let few of his fillies join the royal army; as most were weak like their dams. Muzzle pushing the colt away from his dam, urging him forward so that he could get a better look at him, optics carefully surveying the colt. "A fine lad you have here Angel... Ready to make another?" Without hesitation Scar lunged forward, molars latching onto the mare's boa, a leg swiftly lifting over her back to place him atop her. Excitement and arousal filled his veins, the brute quickly planting his seed in the pretty champagne and pasty vixen, slipping from her rear, the taste of the coppery juice that flowed from her crest appealing on his taste buds. The memories that flowed with the flavor, the way he'd ruled over those horses, the way everyone respected and feared him; awww that was the life and that is what he would have here. Scar stepped out of the way of her rump, surely it would be flying toward him soon in fury, optics set on the blue roan mare now; nimble hooves moving his mass toward her. He went through the same routine with this mare, but before dismounting he released her neck, columns gripping her girth, quietly whispering in her hark; "What's your name mare?" Words: 328 Muse: Other:

Angel had watched as Dream stood straight and strong, reminding her of his father and Angel beamed as she could almost see his father standing beside the young colt. "I am DayDream, son of Angel Wings and NightSky, who is the dead lead stallion of the NightAngel herd." he said proudly, knowing his family history and that he is the son of two lead horses. Angel watched as Dream walked over to Calming and stood talking to her and she was thankful for that be cause of what the stallion did next. Angel knew that this was to be expected and really it did nothing to make her upset, but she knew that Raging would react, since for the longest time she had be Knight's and Knight's alone. Angel walked over to the foals and nuzzled them. Angel put the two on her other side and watched as Raging said her name, "I am Raging Lightning." she snorted. She couldn't move yet, but the stallion would get what he had coming. Raging looked at Angel and smiled since the two would still look after each other. "Angel is the more understanding mare, a true lead mare where it counts, but me, I am not understanding and I do have a temper." Raging added. But in her mind, she wondered what Knight was doing at this moment. There was no doubt that Raging would not love this new foal she was to have, but it was not a full brother or sister to Calming.
(haha, love Raging.)

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar P llars released, slipping from the mare, a grin plastered to his maw. "I'm sure you do mare, and I'd love to see it sometime." Scar taunted her, a low chuckle pressing his kissers turning to trot back toward Angel and the foals, "You seem to know quite a lot about yourself DayDream, now how old are you? Because to me you look a year or more, and a colt your age should be joining my royal army to help defend your mother from the bad equines that linger around these parts. What do you say kid? You want to have a go at it?" He knew the curiousity of a young colt, he knew he could force him to go, but he hoped his creative words would fill the colt with the desire to go himself. Garnet stag stood tall, looking down on the colt respectively, waiting for a responce; the cow sneaking a peek at the two mares he surely had just given foals to. Words: 166 Muse: Blah. Raging lashed out afterthe the stallion got off of her,but she simply walked over to her daughter and soon laid her head over Calming's back. Raging was now just trying to calm herself, thinking back to when her and Knight found out that they were having a foal. Knight..she wondered how he was doing without her beside him. Angel narrowed her eyes slightly and moved over to her son. "A year and a half sir."I Dream said, he could feel his mom lay her head over him and he nuzzled her. "Will i be training with my uncles?" He asked right off. Angel's eyes opened swiftly and she had to smile. Of course he would ask that; he was very much all for learning from Brave and Knight, since he had saved Knight's life.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar T he wind from her kick was felt near his rump, harks falling back on his skull, but a grin spread over him maw; oh this was going to be a fun one for him. "Why yes boy, you will be. Do you think you can handle it?" Scar gave a look of doubt to the colt, knowing that with that look he'd surely try to prove him wrong, so show that he had what it took to be a great warrior. A grin plastered his kissers, the cow letting his eyes wander to the filly. Knight had been agitated with his earlier comments, about the filly becoming a brood for Scar, conscious wondering just how she'd react to the question he held for her. "What about you filly? Do you think you have what it takes?" Taking steps toward the drab gray filly, Scar looked her over, she had the conformation of a warrior, but did she had the mind of one? Dream and Calming both looked at each other. "Have you met my daddy?" Calming calmly asked. She knew her dad had already put up a fight for her, but it was time to prove that she followed in her mother and father's footsteps. "If you want to see if i have what it takes, take Dream and I where you took my father and uncles and let us show what we have got." Calming stepped away from her mother and stood tall and proud next to Dream who had done the same thing. "Raging, we may as well let them go. You know how these two can be." Angel said with a sigh. She could tell Raging didn't so much like the idea, but then again Calming was just like before a storm. She had seen what her filly could do and nodded. "I do agree Angel, there is nothing we can do. Dream is just like his father, NightSky and Calming is just like White Knight and I. So i say let her prove she has what it takes." Raging now stood beside Angel and held her head high along with Angel. But Raging knew why Calming was willing to go, just in hopes if seeing her father. "So are we going or not?" Calming asked.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar F ierce laughter erupted from his throat at the filly's words, "Hahaha, oh please hunny, haha. You must first prove yourself to me before you can go to the Ring of Unity, fillies are not usually my first pick for warriors. Work hard and I may let you go." He was still amused with her spirit, maybe she would be a filly to join his army, but only time would tell that. Pillars moved toward Dream, tassels cascading along his boa, Scar bumping the the colt away from the rest. "Head due north boy, you'll find them there. Wait here." Scar told him in a whisper, he knew the filly would try to follow if she knew where he was going. Scar turned trotting over to the mares and filly, "You ready to start proving yourself? One of the first things you need to learn is to listen and to do so careful. You stay here and trot up and down these dunes till you've developed more muscle. Got it? Go on DayDream." He gave the orders, looking down at the filly. "I know you want to go, but if you disobey me now, you'll never see your father, you hear?" Scar made the threat, but he knew that if she went to the Ring he would make sure that if she saw her father, he'd kill him before her. Words: 229 Muse: Blah. Other:

Dream turned and nodded, but winked at Calming before he took off toward the rest of his family. Dream had his father's cunning and wisdom, it was almost as if he was telling Dream what to do, but as Dream took off toward the others, he felt alive and soon his hooves carried him farther than he could dream of.
Angel watched her son take off, happy that he will be taught by his uncles, but Angel and Raging both knew what the stallion would if Calming ever did prove herself worthy. Raging's heart was gripped by fear of what could happen and everything in her screamed to do something for her stallion, but her brain kept telling her that he was no longer hers. Raging and Angel stood still and watched as Calming trotted out and to the sand dunes and trotted over them, not really tiring. Raging turned back to Angel and the stallion before them, but she walked over to Angel to stand beside her.

Golden Empress trotted through the desert parched and delirious. She had wandered into the desert and knew she was in trouble, for she heard rumors a vicious stallion roamed the parts. She knew now that she wasn't getting out so she'd have to face the dangers of this terrain. She whinnied desperately to anyone hoping she would find some water before getting dehydrated. She slowed to a walk and smelt water. She followed the scent and finally found it quenching her thirst. She lifted her head shaking her mane, getting the cobwebs out of her head. She walked into the watering hole and kicked some water onto her frame. For winter it was still pretty warm for a desert. She didn't want to get too wet for at dark it would cool off. She walked out of the water and flicked her tail. Her scent flew through the air with the wind as it blowed her tail and mane. She knew if there were any stallions they would smell her and draw to her like vultures. She sighed and knew she was done for and she accepted it sadly, but confidently. She started walking some more after she rested her strong pillars. Her golden coat shone like gold and she walked confidently for a mare who knew her fate.

Scars tell the best stories... Leo's Scar O ptics scoped the colt as he headed toward the training grounds, boa swiveling his crania to look at the filly as she jogged up and over the dunes. "Keep up the pace sweetie, once you break a sweat you can stop." Voice bellowed out, a grin sweeping his face, the cow trotting toward the mares. "You think she wants it bad enough?" He asked the two, not directing the question to either mare, optics never leaving the working filly. He didn't think she had what it took, but she'd let her try, maybe not succeed but he'd let her try. The scent of a mare festered in his nares, a grin pulling at the corners of his maw, pillars moving out into a delicate and determined lope. Columns went in the direction of the scent, muscles rippling under his glossy crimson pelt, though still in the depths of winter the desert was warm and had him loosing his winter fluff sooner than most. The gleam of an aureate bodice caught his pools, pushing braces into a gallop, covering the distance between himself and the mare quickly. She was near the oasis, the only fresh water source in the terra, which oh-so-happened to be placed near the entrance; though he had nothing to do with that *wink wink*. "Well hello pretty fae, my name is Leo's Scar and you dear, must come with me." There was no hesitation, rounding her rump, strategically nipping her so that she'd move toward his mob instead of away. Harks pinned, molars grinding as he herded her toward the others, she would make a lovely addition to his clan. They bleed similar blood, though at first glance you'd swear they were the same, Scar had been the son to painted lineage, but had come out with only a stripe and socks; causing his birth herd to believe his dam had had another stag breed her, which would explain his evil tendencies but she swore she'd only been with his sire Leo.
